Cara Mudah Membuat Aplikasi Portable Dengan Bantuan Universal Extractor dan Winrar

Untuk aplikasi yang hendak anda jadikan Portable harus berupa file installer Windows yang berekstensi EXE dan bukan program yang telah ter-install di computer anda. Begini caranya membuat aplikasi Portable dengan bantuan aplikasi Universal Extracto dan Winrar :

1. Setelah anda berhasil mengunduh kedua aplikasi di atas, kemudian install di computer anda, ikuti semua petunjuknya langkah demi langkah hingga dinyatakan sukses.



2. Siapkan program dalam bentuk file installer yang berekstensi EXE, yang akan anda jadikan aplikasi Portable. Simpan dalam folder tersendiri di dalam harddisk computer anda agar mudah menemukannya kembali. Disini saya menggunakan file installer dari Mozilla Firefox yang berekstensi EXE sebagai contoh.



3.Langkah selanjutnya adalah klik kanan pada file installer yang sudah anda siapkan tadi, lalu pilih [ UniExtract To Subdir ], silakan tunggu beberapa saat hingga proses ekstraksi dinyatakan selesai yang ditunjukkan dengan munculnya boks Command Prompt.



4. Jika sebelumnya muncul jendela konfirmasi yang berisi berbagai pilihan mode Ekstrasi, pilih opsi paling atas, kemudian klik [ OK ], maka hasil yang didapat setelah proses ekstrasi adalah sebuah folder dengan nama yang sama dengan file installer yang anda ingin jadikan portable.


5. Buka folder hasil ekstrasi yang sudah anda dapatkan tadi , kemudian carilah file yang berberekstensi EXE. Pada Mozilla file itu bernama Firefox.EXE yang terletak pada folder [ Nonlocalized ], setelah ketemu pilih semua isi folder tersebut dengan cara menekan tombol keyboard [ Crtl + A ], lalu klik kanan mouse anda dan pilih [ Add To Archive... ] untuk meng-kompresi data dengan aplikasi Winrar.

6. Pada jendela Winrar yang muncul isikan nama file portable yang akan anda buat di kolom [ Archive Name ], kemudian berikan tanda centang pada [ Create SFX Archive ], pada menu [ Compression Method ] pilih [ Best ], kemudian klik pada pilihan [ Advance ] lanjutkan dengan klik pada tombol [SFX Option...]

7. Langkah selanjutnya pada Tap [ General ], isi pada boks [ Run After Extraction ] dengan nama file berekstensi EXE yang anda dapatkan tadi pada langkah 5 yaitu [ lihat di folder hasil ekstrasi ], disini saya menggunakan file Firefox.exe.

8. Kemudian klik pada tab [ Modes ], lalu pilih [ Unfack To Temporary Folder ], klik pada [ Hide All ], pada [ Silent Mode ] dan pilih [ Overwrite All Files ] pada [ Overwrite Mode ], lalu klik [ OK ], klik [ OK ] lagi sekali boks [Dialog Archive Name And Parameter , selanjutkanya silakan tunggu beberapa saat hingga prosessnya selesai.

9. Setelah langkah di atas selesai, maka di folder yang anda kelola tadi akan muncul file baru yang berekstensi EXE, dengan nama yang sesuai dengan yang telah anda masukkan pada langkah 6.

10. Sekarang aplikasi anda sudah menjadi aplikasi Portable dan hanya menjadi satu file saja yang berekstensi EXE, tinggal masukkan saja ke dalam USB Flash Disk kesayangan anda dan siap melayani anda kemanapun anda pergi.

BJ Habibie: PLT Nuklir Aman

JAKARTA - Penggiat Teknologi sekaligus mantan Menteri Riset dan Teknologi Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie (BJ Habibi) mendukung penuh pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN) untuk mengatasi krisis listrik di Indonesia.  

"Saya berpendapat sudah waktunya dikeluarkan deklarasi mengenai PLTN ini. Saya mendukung penuh pembangunan PLTN, karena sudah tidak ada jalan lagi," kata Habibie usai seminar bertajuk 'PLTN Menjamin Ketahanan Penyediaan Listrik Nasional' di hotel Grand Melia, Jakarta, Rabu (3/1/2010). 

Habibie menambahkan, bidang pendidikan, penelitian, dan lapangan kerja sangat membutuhkan energi yang banyak. Sebelumnya juga sudah dilakukan penelitian dan diketahui bahwa mengenai anggaran, jika ada investor baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri yang mau berinvestasi tidak ada masalah. 

"Saya rasa hal ini tidak selalu harus kita serahkan kepada pemerintah melulu," kata Habibie. 

Isu nuklir sering dianggap sensitif karena berkaitan dengan dampaknya yang dirasa membahayakan lingkungan dan makhluk hidup. Namun Habibie kemudian menampiknya. 

"Itu berlebihan, kita sudah lakukan penelitian. Nuklir terbukti aman dan bisa memenuhi kebutuhan hajat hidup orang banyak," tandas Habibie.

Hati - hati! Blackberry rentan spyware

CALIFORNIA - Ancaman terhadap sistem keamanan pada iPhone sangat sering kita dengar. Namun hal itu tidak lantas membuat ponsel cerdas lainnya seperti BlackBerry kebal terhadap serangan spyware atau aplikasi jahat.

Pengamat senior dari Veracode Research Lab Tyler Shields menuliskan sebuah laporan mengenai spyware bernama TXSBBSpy yang memungkinkan pengguna sebuah ponsel bisa mengendalikan Blackberry milik orang lain, contohnya memerintahkan agar Blackberry yang menjadi target agar mengirim SMS. Seluruh daftar kontak pada Blackberry itu pun dapat dikopi dan dikirim melalui email tanpa sepengetahuan si pemilik Blackberry. 

Dilansir Cnet, Senin (8/2/2010), dalam eksperimen yang dilakukan Shields, dengan spyware tersebut sebuah ponsel milik seorang partisipan bisa memerintahkan BlackBerry miliknya untuk mengirimkan SMS ke ponsel tersebut. Tak hanya itu, partisipan pun bisa mengakses semua kegiatan yang dilakukan Blackberry tersebut, contohnya seperti mengetahui setiap daftar panggilan dan SMS yang keluar atau masuk, melacak lokasi dimana dia berada dengan memanfaatkan GPS real time pada Blackberry tersebut, bahkan menguping percakapan yang tengah berlangsung dan merekamnya.

"Tujuan saya adalah memperlihatkan betapa mudahnya menciptakan mobile spyware," kata Shields menerangkan tujuannya merilis source code spyware ini.

"TXSBBSpy bisa mengambil semua data dari Blackberry dan mengirimnya melalalui SMS atau emai ke server web, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol), UDP (User Diagram Protocol) atau koneksi jaringan mana pun," terang Shields.

Agar sebuah ponsel bisa mengontrol Blackberry milik orang lain, terlebih dahulu spyware tersebut harus terinstal ke Blackberry yang menjadi target tersebut. Caranya adalah, dengan mengirimkan email berisi link spyware tersebut kepada korban. Spyware akan langsung terinstal saat korban mengakses link spyware yang diberikan melalui email.

Shields juga mengingatkan, Spyware seperti ini bisa tersembunyi melalui berbagai aplikasi yang nampaknya aman dan diunduh dari toko aplikasi yang kompeten.
